Kurt Boeckman
Project Manager
Kurt has spent more than twenty years working on new homes and renovations projects on the north fork alongside his dad. Growing up in a construction environment, Kurt constantly found himself on various construction projects. His dad Mark Boeckman, would give him small tasks like, cleaning up the job sites or assisting the subcontractors. As time passed, his dad started showing him more about the process of each home and how to perform different trades on those projects. Most importantly, he didn’t just teach him just how to do the job right, he taught him to accomplish each task with a high standard of quality and to put other people’s needs far above his own.

In 2000 my husband and I retained Boeckman Building Construction to do a gut renovation to our house. Everything even the chimney, had to be replaced. The job was done on time, on budget and without stress. The workmanship was and remains superb. I was told by friends that the process of building a new home from the ground up would be long and difficult. While it was a long process it was certainly not difficult! Working with Mark was wonderful! He took care of everything; from clearing the land for the foundation, to all the small details that go in to building a house, that one would never think of and could be easily overlooked. He oversaw every aspect of design and construction with precision and care. Mark was patient and accommodating, especially with the many, many change orders. My wife and I had the pleasure of using Boeckman Construction for our addition in 2016. The addiition consisted of a large family room as well as adding a bedroom for our growing family. Along with the need for more space we wanted to bring more stone and wood into our home for a more rustic feel. Boeckman not only met our expectation, but far exceeded them. The end result gave us all the space we needed as well as creating the exact look we were so hoping for.
Throughout the project we found Mark and Kurt extremely helpful and above all quality oriented. Many of the rustic touches were ideas that Kurt threw our way while walking around discussing the job. These include hand made doores of rough sawn wood, using rough sawn on the ceiling in the kitchen as welll as replacing the existing white wainscoting with it. A later add on, but in need of mention, Kurt installed a hand ade barn slider as well. By bringing these ideas to the part of the house already existing, both new and old tied together flawlessly.
Along with Boeckman, I would like to say I was very happy with the sub-contractors they used for the project. The subs were reliable, dependable, neat and organized. Mrk runs a tight ship, so I honestly expected only the best. I would like to mention the great group of employees Mark & Kurt have working for them. Not only are they skilled craftsmen, but they are a good group of guys as well.
All around our project was a huge success. There is nothing that didn’t meet or far exceed expectations. Any future work we have done will be done by none other than Boeckman Construction.
